Youth and Vision Access Reinforcement project
that Empowers youth vision access attaining their better future
welfare by in Ipala, Mtumba, Ihumwa, Msanga and Nzuguni rural
wards communities in Dodoma city

WHY YVAR?

According to Youth employment country report 2015 denotes approximately 900,000
youth that entered the labor market in 2010/11, 14 percent did not complete primary School, 44 percent finished their primary but did not transition to secondary, an additional 38 percent went to secondary but did not reach or finish Form IV, and a mere four percent went beyond O-level.
This means the majority of youth do not reach their visions.

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF YVAR?

Empowered youth vision access attaining their better future
welfare by December 2022 ALR targets to reach 700 marginalized youth aging from
15-35 years considering both educated and non-educated over the
period of 2019-2022 years.

The specific YVAR outcomes are:

  1. Improved youth involvement in socio-economic interventions to master their living
  2. Empowered youth life skills access for their sustainable career development
  3. Enhanced youth functional behaviors to abstain from risks in lives

HOW DO WE DO?

We work with Inspirational youth, Local government authorities,
Nonprofit organizations, Vocational and formal
educational institutions

WHOM DO WE TARGET?

  1. Youth with disabilities
  2. Youth school drop out for any reason
  3. Secondary and higher learning youth for vision access enhancement support.
  4. Homeless youth
  5. Youth living in poverty
