Agriculture, Livelihood and Resilience project that fosters small holder
farmers and entrepreneurs to earn income and food security for households' wellbeing.
ALR is operating in Dodoma city district at rural wards including
Nzuguni, Ihumwa, Mtumba, Msanga and Ipala .

WHY ALR?

Statistics reveal that the economy of the people of Nzuguni ,
Ihumwa ,Mtumba,Msanga and Ipala still live below 1USD income with food insecurity
despite the Tanzania entrance of the medium economy.

WHAT IS THE GOAL OF ALR?

 Improved small holder farmers undertaking agriculture and livelihood
attaining resilient families in the societies by 2022 ALR targets to reach 500
small holder farmers and entrepreneurs over the period of 2019-2022
through capacity building empowerment.

ALR outcomes are

  1.  Increased small holder farmers on agricultural modern skills practices for resilient households sustenance
  2. Improved farmers and entrepreneurs products markets access to strengthen resilient households
  3. Empowered women to engage in livelihood undertakings for nutritious families

HOW DO WE DO?

We collaboratively work with agricultural extension
officers, loan agricultural institutions, wards community development
officers, inspirational farmers
and entrepreneurs.

WHOM DO WE TARGET?

  1. Farmers in field lacking best farming skills
  2. Women and young women
  3. Graduates
  4.  Youth
  5. Upcoming livelihood practitioners
